What data do we process and why?

We process only personal data that you provide to us yourself or that is necessary for the provision of our services. In concrete terms, this concerns the following.

Contact and advice requests

When you request a consultation through the contact form, or call or email us, we process your name, email address, telephone number, your company name where applicable, and the content of your message. We use this data solely to answer your query and to provide you with suitable advice or a proposal. Legal basis: the performance of, or steps taken prior to entering into, a contract, and our legitimate interest in assisting you properly.

Job applications

If you apply for a position through our website, we process your name, place of residence, email address, telephone number, the position you are applying for, your message and any CV you submit. We use this data solely for the recruitment process. We retain application data for a maximum of four weeks after the procedure has been completed, unless you give your consent for us to retain it for longer.

Use of the website

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, so that we can improve it. In doing so, data such as the pages visited, device type and anonymised traffic is processed. Analytical cookies are placed only after you have given your consent through the cookie notice.

In addition, we use Google Ads to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising. Only after you have given your consent for marketing cookies through the cookie notice may an encrypted (hashed) representation of your email address be shared with Google in order to measure conversions more accurately. Your data cannot be derived from this encrypted representation, and Google uses it solely to measure our advertising.

Who receives your data?

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do, however, engage a number of service providers (processors) that help us operate our website and deliver our services. Where necessary, data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties.

  • Web3Forms and FormSubmit, for processing the forms on our website and forwarding them to our mailbox.
  • Google (Analytics), for website statistics.
  • Google (Ads), for measuring and improving our advertising.
  • Cloudflare, for hosting and delivering the website.
  • Hostnet, for our email.

How long do we retain your data?

We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary. We retain contact and advice requests for as long as is necessary to handle them and, where an order is placed, for the duration of the engagement and the statutory retention periods that apply to it. We retain application data for a maximum of four weeks after the procedure, unless you give your consent for longer.

Cookies

Our website uses functional cookies that are necessary for the site to work, analytical cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Google Ads), which we place only after you have given your consent. You can adjust your cookie preferences or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. Our website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us.

What are your rights?

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing, to withdraw your consent and to have your data transferred. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send a request to info@cebec.nl. We will respond within four weeks.

If you disagree with the way in which we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
