Determine who enters your premises, where and when. A modern access control system replaces physical key management with digital authorisations, with full logging and integration with your intruder alarm, CCTV and fire alarm system.
Physical keys are difficult to manage. They get lost, they get copied, and you never know exactly who entered outside working hours. A modern access control system lets you arrange all of this digitally. You determine, per employee, per door and per time window, who has access. If someone loses a card, you block it immediately, with no need to replace locks.
As an experienced access control company we supply systems for every scale, from a single door to a multi-site organisation with hundreds of doors, readers and users. Whether the requirement is RFID cards, PIN codes, biometric access control or mobile access via smartphone, we design the access control system around your situation and integrate it with the rest of your security.
Full logging also makes access control a powerful security tool. You can see, to the minute, who opened which door, which is valuable during incidents and for compliance with internal procedures. Integrated with the intruder alarm, the system can disarm the alarm automatically on the first valid card, so employees do not have to disarm it separately. Arming at the end of the day is usually handled by an automatic arming schedule or a card reader at the door.
Access control begins at the front door, but it reaches much further. We secure offices, warehouses, healthcare sites, car parks and mixed-use property complexes. These are the six applications we encounter most often.
Controlled access to departments, server rooms, laboratories or production areas. Per employee or group you set which rooms are accessible and when.
The entrance is the calling card of your premises. An access control system with an intercom and visitor registration ensures a smooth flow without compromising security.
Access to car parks, loading docks and site entrances based on card, PIN, intercom or number-plate recognition (ANPR). With logging of every vehicle that passes.
Only authorised employees can reach specific floors. Ideal for office complexes with multiple tenants or for restricted zones within a commercial building.
Extra-secured zones for valuables or privacy-sensitive records. Often combined with biometrics or dual authentication (card plus PIN).
Number-plate recognition against a whitelist lets known vehicles in automatically. For strict pedestrian access in lobbies or factories we deploy a turnstile, with a card reader or biometrics for verification. Visitors receive a temporary code or QR for single-use access.
An access control system can identify who is at the door in a number of ways. We often combine several methods, for example card plus PIN for more sensitive rooms. These are the six authentication types we support as standard.
RFID access control is the most widely used method. Contactless cards or key fobs that you program per user. The card reader identifies every passage and records it in the system. Easy to expand, instantly blockable if lost, and suitable for large numbers of employees.
Extra assurance on sensitive doors. Often combined with a card (dual authentication). Also useful as a short-term solution for temporary staff or visitors.
Fingerprint or facial recognition. Biometric access control cannot be lost or lent out and is ideal for high-security zones such as server rooms, vaults or laboratories. We address the GDPR requirements around biometrics within the design.
The smartphone as the key. Using Bluetooth Low Energy or NFC you open the door without a card. Issuing and revoking is handled entirely remotely. Perfect for flexible workers, visitors and multi-site environments.
Identify visitors before you open the door, with voice and image. Operable remotely too, via your smartphone or reception unit. Always integrated with the access control system.
Cameras with number-plate recognition grant automatic access to vehicles belonging to your own employees or regular suppliers. It works excellently for barriers, loading docks and multi-tenant car parks.
Cebec works with two platforms that together cover the full spectrum, from a single office door to a complex with hundreds of readers spread across several sites. For each project we choose the platform that fits best technically and in terms of management.
Paxton specialises in intuitive access control systems that are quick to install and easy for the user to manage. We deploy Net2 for classic wired installations and Paxton10 for modern cloud environments in which access, video and intercom come together in a single platform.
For larger organisations we integrate access control within Vanderbilt SPC from Acre. This brings intruder alarm and access together in a single platform, with central control, uniform logging and powerful role management. Ideal for multi-site organisations and locations with strict security requirements.
Not sure which platform suits you? During the site survey we determine together which system fits your organisation, scale and integration requirements.
An access control system is at its strongest when it works together with the rest of your security. The intruder alarm disarms automatically on the first valid card and the camera captures an image at each passage. In the event of a fire alarm, the fire alarm system can unlock escape doors automatically.
With a combined management platform you avoid separate accounts per system. A new employee is granted access, alarm rights and CCTV access in a single action. When they leave, everything is revoked at the same time.
Every access control system begins with a conversation and a walkthrough of your premises. On that basis we advise on platform, hardware and integrations. Our own engineers carry out the installation, so you have a single point of contact from design through to handover.
We assess which doors, barriers and floors need to be controlled and agree how the system fits within your organisation.
You receive a plan with the door layout, the type of hardware, the authentication methods and the required integrations. A clear quotation is included.
Our engineers fit the readers, locks and cabling, connect the system to your network and configure the authorisations and time zones.
We program the cards, set up user roles and give you thorough instruction in the management system. We then take care of the maintenance.
Every project starts with a site survey without obligation. Within a week you receive a clear design and a tailored quotation.
An access control system runs every day. Software updates, changes to authorisations and the occasional faulty reader or electric lock call for structured service. If you wish, we take over the full management and provide a tailored maintenance contract.
Periodic inspection of readers, locks, door contacts and power supply. Firmware and software updates, help with card management and a 24/7 fault service for critical access doors.
Access, intrusion, fire alarm and CCTV under a single contract, a single point of contact and a single invoice. Ideal for multi-site organisations seeking oversight and control.
Our access control systems are scalable from a single door to thousands of doors across multiple sites. Paxton Net2 and Paxton10 cover most small to medium-sized installations; Vanderbilt SPC is the choice for large complexes and multi-site organisations. During the survey we advise on the platform that suits your current situation and expected growth.
Paxton Net2 is a wired platform with local management via PC or server; Paxton10 is the modern cloud-based successor with integrated video and intercom. Net2 has been used for years for installations up to hundreds of doors. Paxton10 is ideal for organisations that want to manage centrally via a web browser or app and want to use mobile credentials.
We choose Vanderbilt SPC for larger installations and locations where intruder alarm and access control need to form one coherent system. That provides central control, uniform logging and powerful role management, plus an audit trail that can matter for compliance. SPC is also popular with organisations that have their own security officers and want to work from a single cockpit.
Yes. As standard we integrate access control with intruder detection, CCTV, intercom and fire alarm systems. This allows the intruder alarm to disarm automatically on the first valid card, the camera to capture an image at every passage and escape doors to be unlocked automatically on a fire alarm in line with the NEN requirements.
Biometric access control falls under special category personal data in the GDPR. This means it is only permitted where there is a compelling interest that cannot be addressed in a less intrusive way, for example securing a server room or vault. We advise on a sound justification, ensure templates are stored rather than raw biometrics, and always offer an alternative for employees who do not wish to use biometrics.
Yes. Barrier access control via ANPR cameras is a popular solution for car parks and loading docks. Known number plates are placed on a whitelist and granted access automatically; visitors are admitted via intercom or a temporary code. Everything is logged and can be integrated with your intruder alarm and CCTV.
A single door with reader and electric lock starts from a few hundred euros; with multiple doors or large integrations the investment rises. The total cost depends on the number of doors, the platform (Paxton or Vanderbilt SPC), the authentication method and any integrations. We always draw up a tailored plan first, with a clear quotation.
We assess your situation, advise on platform and authentication and prepare a tailored quotation. Free and without obligation.
