Preventive maintenance, a 24/7 fault service and remote service for intruder alarms, fire alarm systems, CCTV and access control. A fixed point of contact, a fast response time and a valid certificate for your insurer.
A security system is not a product you buy once. It is a system that is sensitive, that wears over time and that must be tested periodically to remain reliable. Smoke detectors become contaminated. Batteries run flat. Firmware falls out of date. Without structured maintenance, the reliability of your system declines and you run the risk that an alarm fails to trigger, triggers too late or triggers in error.
A maintenance contract with Cebec means that your systems are inspected periodically by our own engineers, that you can call on our fault service 24/7 and that your system meets the applicable standards and the requirements of your insurer. You have a single fixed point of contact for every system in your building.
Periodic inspection, function tests and cleaning of all components. Replacement of batteries and wear parts. Documented in a maintenance report.
In the event of a fault outside office hours, you are in direct contact with an engineer. Under the contract, fixed response times apply to emergencies.
We resolve many faults remotely. Our engineers view your system securely, make a diagnosis and, where possible, carry out the repair without an on-site visit.
Keeping all software up to date to prevent security vulnerabilities and to ensure compatibility with connections to the alarm receiving centre and the app.
After every maintenance visit you receive a maintenance report and, where applicable, a valid certificate, such as a VEB certificate for intruder detection, a maintenance certificate for fire alarm systems and a REOB certificate for extinguishers.
You have a single contact for all your systems. No switching between parties, no referrals, short lines of communication.
Every type of system has its own maintenance protocol. Below you will find, for each category, what the maintenance involves and which standards apply.
Annual inspection in line with the VEB guidelines, including a function test of all detectors, a check of the transmission to the alarm receiving centre, cleaning of sensors and battery replacement. You receive a valid VEB certificate that your insurer accepts.
Maintenance in line with NEN 2654-1, including maintenance of the connected evacuation alarm system (NEN 2654-2). An annual function test of all smoke detectors, manual call points, sounders and transmission equipment. Logbook and certification in a single visit.
Annual inspection of extinguishers in line with NEN 2559 and emergency lighting in line with NEN-EN 1838 and NEN-EN 50172. A check of fittings, batteries and signage, including a valid inspection certificate.
A check of image quality, recording settings, cybersecurity updates and storage capacity. Cleaning of lenses and housings. Verification of the connection to the alarm receiving centre or the app.
A check of readers, locks and door controllers. A back-up of the access database. Software updates and verification of authorisation management. A function test of evacuation links.
A maintenance contract starts with a baseline assessment of your existing system. We then schedule the maintenance for a fixed point in the year, and you are connected to our fault service straight away.
We inspect your existing system, assess its condition and establish which certification is currently valid.
You choose the scope that suits you, from basic maintenance to an all-in package that includes faults and parts.
We schedule the maintenance for a fixed point each year. You are notified well in advance and need give it no further thought.
From day one you are connected to our fault service. In an emergency we help you straight away, if necessary first via remote service.
For fire alarm systems, extinguishers and emergency lighting, periodic maintenance is a legal requirement under the Dutch Buildings Decree (Bbl) and the associated standards such as NEN 2654-1. For intruder systems, maintenance is usually required under the policy conditions of your insurer. Without a valid certificate, your insurer may withdraw cover.
The fault service is available 24/7. Our target time for an initial response is within one hour. In many cases we can already resolve the fault within that hour remotely via remote service. If a visit is required, we agree with you whether it should take place immediately or on the next working day.
Yes, in most cases. We support the common brands and systems on the market. After a baseline assessment, we determine whether your system can be taken over. Sometimes a small adjustment or update is needed first in order to bring the system up to our maintenance standard.
Remote service is maintenance and fault handling carried out remotely. Via a secure connection, our engineers can read out your system, run diagnostics and, in many cases, repair faults straight away. This saves you waiting time and call-out costs, and it is also more sustainable.
Yes. That is precisely what our integrated management is designed for. Intruder, fire, CCTV and access under a single contract, with a single point of contact and a single invoice. More about integrated installation management
